Homemade Cranberry Sauce


  • One 12-oz bag of fresh cranberries
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. freshly squeezed orange juice (not from a bottle)
  • 2 tsp. orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. kosher salt

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring up to simmer over medium heat and cook for 15 minutes. Let cool completely and serve at room temperature.
